  9. FYI the boards on palletts are not usually consistently the same widths. Just letting you know before you spend a lot of time trying to find one only to find this out!! It would work but you may have to trim or sand or get enough palletts to collect boards of the same size. I love the hefty look of this :)

  11. if those are pallets then they are not american made lol. i make out door furniture from pallets and not once have i come across wood that width unless it was imported.

  12. If you look closely you can see that the wood has been doubled to give it that extra thickness.

  16. These are 2x8 boards. Probably cedar, possibly burnt aged. Put together as a lap seam.

  19. Please don't be so rude. Smart remarks just make people afraid to ask questions. In grade school its called bullying.

  22. Those are 1 by 6 and they didn't come from a pallet. They put it together with deck screws and wood glue. Then they sanded it down and burned parts of it to make it look authentic. It would cost way more then $10. Even if you had the wood lying around you would still spend more then $10 on the materials. You also need to make precision cuts. IT wouldn't be that hard to do and would look nice when you are done, but you would spend at least $20 to $30 getting what you need.

  23. they dont deliver in the U.S. it cost to much.

  24. I would agree. These are made w one by's. Aged and burned for this look. My husband and I make custom furniture and terriums made to look like this all the time. Our business is called Aquatic Oak if anyone is interested in purchasing one like this or an enclosure. Web page : aquatic oak.webs.com or we also have a Facebook page.
