how do you make this??
Where's the blog? This is just a picture!
Looks like they said they were not pallets, but reclaimed scaffolding boards.
Really!!!! I'll buy it!!!!! Awesome! Hi girl!!!!Leticia here!
OK but a pallet board is only, like 6" deep.
was hoping for the diy...and they do look like scaffolding boards...nice.
DYI? How do we make it?
You build a bunch of squares and screw them together. Do you really need a tutorial on this?!?!?
I was about to say the exact thing. Thanks!
even i know that and i cant even identify 99% of tools in the garage!
FYI the boards on palletts are not usually consistently the same widths. Just letting you know before you spend a lot of time trying to find one only to find this out!! It would work but you may have to trim or sand or get enough palletts to collect boards of the same size. I love the hefty look of this :)
This looks like the pallet FRAME wood, not the top boards.....
if those are pallets then they are not american made lol. i make out door furniture from pallets and not once have i come across wood that width unless it was imported.
If you look closely you can see that the wood has been doubled to give it that extra thickness.
Yes it is doubled. Very natural looking.Love it
if you click on the picture.. you'll discover its made in the UK....
They just look like 2x4's to me. :/ Build boxes, put boxes together...
These are 2x8 boards. Probably cedar, possibly burnt aged. Put together as a lap seam.
Can't find instructions!
Hey so this picture originated from a ReliCreation a interior design company in London. http://relicinteriors.wordpress.com/contact-us/
Please don't be so rude. Smart remarks just make people afraid to ask questions. In grade school its called bullying.
If you click on the blue banner at the top that says "the 10 dollar do it yourself blog" it will take you to the blog.
I have found that link given below... Its good ferniture designInkkarnation
Those are 1 by 6 and they didn't come from a pallet. They put it together with deck screws and wood glue. Then they sanded it down and burned parts of it to make it look authentic. It would cost way more then $10. Even if you had the wood lying around you would still spend more then $10 on the materials. You also need to make precision cuts. IT wouldn't be that hard to do and would look nice when you are done, but you would spend at least $20 to $30 getting what you need.
they dont deliver in the U.S. it cost to much.
I would agree. These are made w one by's. Aged and burned for this look. My husband and I make custom furniture and terriums made to look like this all the time. Our business is called Aquatic Oak if anyone is interested in purchasing one like this or an enclosure. Web page : aquatic oak.webs.com or we also have a Facebook page.
My husband and I make furniture out of wooden pallets, you would be surprised at what beautiful furniture can be made with a few pallets.the comment say this wasn't made from pallets but I am sure it could have been and looked just as nice,if not nicer.
